FAQ

  • I've registered for a course - what happens next?

You can register for our available courses any time. For courses that have live classes (such as DBT) you will find weekly material released as the course progresses.

  • I signed up for a course with live sessions - how do I join my classes?

For live online classes, we use Zoom. The Zoom link will be in your class materials. You will need to sign in to your course to access this. A Zoom link may also be emailed to you. For courses with regular classes, we use the same link each session.

  • Can I withdraw from a course once I have registered?

You can withdraw from a course at any time. Please advise us by email or calling our office. For live courses and workshops: Refunds for course fees are available up to 7 days prior to the course commencement date. After this time we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. For on-demand courses: no refunds are offered.

  • Can I claim Medicare rebates?

Medicare rebates may be available for group services. You will need a GP Mental Health Plan or Private Psychiatrist/Paediatrician referral. Medicare rebates may depend also on your locations (rebates for online services are only available for small rural and remote locations). Check with us if you wish to claim rebates. Group rebates do not affect rebates for individual counselling.

  • Do you accept Private Health or other funding?

Some of our programs will be funded by WorkSafe, TAC, DVA, Open Arms and some other funders. We also accept some private health insurance funds. Please check with your funder and ensure you have approval for group services prior to enrolling. If you have approval, please contact our office to arrange enrollment at no cost. Workshops and webinars for professionals are generally not funded.
